How to use Physiomer
Preparation and assembly of the device:
• Before using the device for the first time, rinse each portion of it with soapwater and then rinse carefully.
• Wash your hands.
• Empty the contents of 1 or 2 sachets into the bottle
• Fill the 240ml bottle with mineral or thermal water, either lukewarm or at room temperature. For gentle washing:
• Screw the ring into the bottle and button the curved nose. • Adjust flow intensity: "1 drop" for medium flow, "3 drops" for full flow.
• Shake the bottle while placing your finger on the upper part of the nose. For intense washing:
• Attach the immersion tube to the intended hole located at the bottom of the ring.
• Screw the ring with the immersion tube in the bottle and button the nose to the ring. • Adjust flow intensity: "1 drop" for medium flow, "3 drops" for full flow.
• Shake the bottle while placing your finger on the upper part of the nose.
Use The use by children should be supervised by an adult and at a time when it is far from meals.
• Choose the preferred method of administration and the corresponding nose.
• Bend over a sink and lean head towards one side.
• Keep your mouth open and keep breathing normally throughout nasal lavage.
• Place the nose on the nostril located on the top side making sure it applies perfectly to it.
• Apply gentle pressure on the bottle to start washing
- Adults: use between 60 and 120mL per nostrils, using as a guide the graduations found in the bottle
- Children: adjust the flow to the 1 drop position and use 60mL per nostrils
• Cover your head to drain the remaining solution from the nasal cavity and then gently blow your nose
• Dispose of any remaining solution.
HELP:
• Use water (metal or healing water) either lukewarm or at room temperature. Avoid using cold or hot water as you may feel burning.
• You can gradually heat the solution in the bottle in a microwave (per 5 seconds). Only the bottle has been designed for use in a microwave. No other part of the device shall be placed in a microwave.
• Keep your mouth open during use: this movement prevents the solution from entering the larynx. In addition to a salty taste that may be unpleasant, ingestion of the solution is completely harmless.
• Adjust the inclination of your head to facilitate the flow of the solution from one nostrils to another. Even if the solution does not pass through one nostrils to another, nasal lavage is effective.
Recommended use:
For daily hygiene and prevention 1 sachet dissolved in 240 mL* water (metallic or therapeutic) 2 to 3 times a week. In case of rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal sinusitis, allergic rhinitis and postoperative care:
1 sachet dissolved in 240 mL* water (metallic or therapeutic) 1 to 3 times a day.
Occasionally, as required, in cases of severe nasal congestion:
2 sachets dissolved in 240 mL* water (metallic or therapeutic) 1 time a day for 3-5 days
