GREEN & PROTECT is our first step towards sustainable wound protection. The innovative coating combines environmentally friendly materials and offers reliable Hansaplast quality. We have made an effort to identify the most viable materials as essential components of our epithets.
*The wound gauze and the epithet carrier are made of fibers of natural origin and are fully biodegradable. All materials of natural origin come from FSC® certified forests (Beiersdorf’s FSC® license number is FSC® N0037110).
**The electricity used in the production process comes from 100% renewable sources. All other emissions are offset through certified reforestation projects.
GREEN & PROTECT coatings offer extremely strong paste while repelling water and are resistant. The gauze of the epithet does not stick on the wound and acts like a protective pillow.

1. Cleaning Cleaning the wound from dirt and bacteria is the necessary first step to optimal healing. Repeat if necessary and then gently wipe the wound and skin area around the wound.
Important: In small wounds the bleeding stops soon. If the bleeding continues, use extra gauze, keep pressing the wound and seek medical help. 2. healing You can contribute to safe and quick healing of the wound while reducing the risk of scar formation. Use the Hansaplast wound healing cream regularly until the wound is fully healed. Carefully apply a thin layer, once or twice a day. Make sure the tube's mouth is not in contact with the wound. Repeat regularly until healing is complete. Hansaplast Wound healing Cream can be used in open, small surface wounds at any stage of the healing process.
3. Protection Finally, it is important to protect the wound from external factors, such as dirt and bacteria, to allow healing without obstacles. Cover the wound with Hansaplast patch that best suits your needs. Watch the wound and change the patch or gauze regularly, unless your doctor has otherwise advised you.
